Izumi Kitta

Izumi Kitta is a voice actress and singer, who voices the role of Misaki in the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” animation. She has voiced other roles such as Cordelia in “Tantei Opera Milky Holmes,” Queen in “Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan,” Cleo in “Freezing” and Aoi in “B Gata H Kei: Yamada’s First Time.” Izumi’s game roles include Cerberus in “Shining Blade” PSP game, and she has also hosted several radio shows.
Izumi is a member of the singing unit “Milky Holmes,” who performed at the Nippon Budokan in May 2012.
This is Izumi’s first appearance at a North American convention and she stated, “I am looking forward to my first convention in the United States! I hope to meet as many fans as possible!!”

Aimi Terakawa

Aimi Terakawa voices the role of Suiko in the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” animation. As a recording artist known simply as “Aimi,” she sings the theme songs for “Ben-To” and “Astarotte no Omocha!” anime series and “Da Capo III” video game.
Besides singing, Aimi plays the guitar and saxophone, is an accomplished dancer and is learning to speak Korean.
This is Aimi’s first appearance at a North American convention and she stated, “I am excited to meet American anime fans! Let’s enjoy Anime Expo together!”

Ryan Luhning

Ryan has been a fixture in the world of animation voice-over for a solid decade. He voices the role of Kai in the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” animation. A few of the projects that Ryan has appeared in are Gundam 00, Dragon Ball, and Deltora Quest.
Ryan has commented that “Kai is one of the most complex characters I’ve voiced for animation. I’m driven to know him, to uncover his secrets and insecurities, and discover why he has become this aloof human being who appears to scorn everything. In spite of these traits he has moments; flashes of vulnerability in his eyes.”
Ryan has been the Artistic Director of Ground Zero Theatre since its inception in 1997. He is an actor, director and producer. His work has been seen on many of Calgary’s professional stages. He has been nominated for five Betty Mitchell Awards for Acting, in addition to being the recipient of the Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Lead Role for THE PILLOWMAN (Ground Zero Theatre/Hit & Myth Productions).

Lucas Gilbertson

Lucas started working as a voice actor in 2001, and voices the role of Morikawa in the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” animation. With many animation voice-over credits to his name, Lucas’s other notable roles have been “Zero” (MEGAMAN X8), “Antares” (SCAN 2 GO), “Sir Percival Sadlygrove” (WAKFU), “Finn” (DELTORA QUEST), “Chow” (D.I.C.E.), and “Hanzo” (HUNTER X HUNTER).
Lucas says, “Playing Morikawa is such a blast, you can’t help but love this guy. He’s so passionate and confident in his belief that he’s a master VANGUARD player. It’s not a job to become Morikawa, it’s one of the best times I’ve ever had in the recording booth!”
When he’s not performing in animated projects, video games and numerous Indie films, Lucas is also a prolific painter, creating large colourful canvases. He also enjoys playing music with his alt-rock band.
Yosuke Adachi
 |
Yosuke Adachi is an illustrator for the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” cards. Debuting as an illustrator for the role-playing game “Angel Gear” in 2003, he has drawn monsters and character images for various card games and hobby games. Yosuke is currently working on his manga series “Quick Start!!”.

Foo Midori

Foo Midori is an illustrator for the “Cardfight!! Vanguard” cards. She is a fantasy and sci-fi illustrator, who has recently worked as a character designer for Cartoon Network’s “FusionFall”. An English language illustration book of her works is planned for release in the near future.

During the whole event, Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz demonstration wil be held at the booth to teach beginners how to play.
Decks for the demonstration will be lend out.
If you want to be a cardfighter like Aichi, or you like animations such as “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” and “Fate/Zero”, just come by the booth!
