Bushiroad Spring Fest will consist of 3 main events and multiple side events held across 2 days on a weekend. The 3 main events are the Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League 2014, Weiss Schwarz Neo-Showdown 2014 and Future Card Buddyfight Buddy Challenge 2014.
The Cardfight!! Vanguard “Team League” tournament series focuses on the team format. Players of all ages may form teams, consisting of 3 members, to face against other teams.
In the Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League 2014, teams may choose to protect the world with the [Cray Defenders] or invade with the [Void Invaders]. Players’ decision on which side to join at each Regional Championship will determine whether the [Cray Defenders] or [Void Invaders] will take over the nation. The results of each Regional Championship will be updated on the Cardfight!! Vanguard Facebook Page.

Deck Regulations/Requirements
Teams are required to adhere to the deck regulations/requirements stated below to be eligible in the Team League 2014. Teams may choose to protect Cray with the [Cray Defenders], or invade Cray with the [Void Invaders].

1. Each team member must use a different clan within the team. 2. No <<Link Joker>> or “Яeverse” cards may be included in any decks. 3. Each deck must comprise of cards from a single clan only. <<Royal Paladin>> decks may include up to 10 <<Shadow Paladin>> cards in the deck. 4. A card with multiple clans may be included in the deck as long as one of the clans is the chosen clan. 5. Only English Edition cards may be used. 6. Fighters are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. A maximum of 2 layers of sleeves is allowed. |

Regional Championship

There will be no distinction made between the [Cray Defenders] or [Void Invaders] for pairings.
Each member in the team is assigned a position (1, 2 or 3). Players will be paired according to their team position. Each member plays 1 game against the opposing member of the same number. (E.g. No. 1 to No. 1, No. 2 to No. 2)

• Winning Team will receive the Team League 2014 Regional Champion Trophy, a Team League 2014 Regional Champion Certificate and an invitation to the respective Continental Championship Finals. Travel and accommodation expenses will be provided 2, except for players from the United Kingdom, Portugal, USA – Los Angeles and Singapore Regional Championships. Portugal and UK invitees will be sponsored with travel expenses but NOT accommodation. Minors will need confirmation from a parent or guardian to earn the invitation to travel. • 1st Runner-Up Team will receive a Team League 2014 Regional 2nd Place Certificate and an invitation to the respective Continental Championship only. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are Japanese Edition cards allowed?
A: No, only English Edition cards may be used in the tournament. No mixing of multiple languages in the deck is allowed too. Different deck regulation may apply for the Neo-Showdown 2014 depending on the region.
Q: Are there any entry fees?
A: There are no entry fees to the Team League 2014. However, players may have to pay to enter the venue if the qualifier is held within another event which requires an entry fee.
Q: Why are there different team types? What are the different team types?
A: We would like to provide players with an immersive experience by allowing them to choose to battle to protect or invade Cray in the Team League 2014. Players who choose to protect Cray are the [Cray Defenders], while players who wish to invade Cray and swear their allegiance to <<Link Joker>> are the [Void Invaders].
Q: How do I join the Cray Defenders/Void Invaders?
A: Form a team of 3 and register at the nearest regional qualifiers. Teams would have to adhere to the respective deck regulations to join either the Cray Defenders/Void Invaders.
Q: What does “a playset of 3 or more “Яeverse” cards” mean?
A: It means that the deck must include at least 3 cards of the same name with “Яeverse” in the name.
Q: What do I get from participating in the Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League 2014? What are the participation prizes?
A: All participants will receive a PR card for participating. Additionally, participants will also receive a badge depending on their team type.
[Defender] teams will receive a [Defender] badge, while [Invader] teams will receive an [Invader] badge. Each team member will only receive 1 badge.
Q: What if I’m unable to find team mates for the Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League 2014 tournament?
A: You may try to seek other fellow players who are also looking for team mates at the event. However, we would recommend forming a team before heading down to the venue or you might not make it in time for the registration.
