「Ultimate Stride」

What is “Ultimate Stride”?

When you have 3 or more face up cards in your G zone, by choosing and discarding a card with the same card name as your vanguard, “Striding” a face down card with “Ultimate Stride” from your G zone onto your vanguard circle is called “Ultimate Stride”. Also, when an “Ultimate Stride” returns to your G zone, all of your cards in the G zone will be removed from game including the <Zeroth Dragon>.

Is “Ultimate Stride” a different action from “Stride”?

Yes, the actions for “Ultimate Stride” and “Stride” are regarded as different actions. However, the result of that action is regarded as “Striding”, thus abilities of your Grade 3 vanguards that have “When you Stride” as a condition can be activated too.

For abilities like “You may “Stride” without paying the cost for the next time you “Stride”.” of “Dragheart, Luard”, is it possible to use it for “Ultimate Stride” too?

No, that is not possible. With regards to the actions of fighters, “Ultimate Stride” and “Stride” are regarded as different actions. Thus, abilities that alter the cost for “Stride” will not alter the cost for “Ultimate Stride”.

Are G units with “Ultimate Stride” put face down in the G zone before each fight, the same way as G units and G guardians are?

Yes. It will be included in the 16 cards of the G deck.

How many G units with “Ultimate Stride” are you allowed to put in your G deck?

As long as it is within the 16-card limit of the G deck, there are no limits to the number of G units. “You may only have up to 4 copies of cards with the same card name” rule still applies.

Are the cards removed by “Ultimate Stride” put into the bind zone?
Will those cards be able to return to the G zone due to some card effects?

The cards removed from play are put in the removal zone. They will be put in the removal zone during the game in a separate area.
Also, as the removal zone is a different area as the bind zone, the removal zone will not be referenced by effects that involve the bind zone.

Are the cards to be removed from the G zone all removed regardless of whether they are face up or face down?

Yes, all cards, whether face up or face down, are removed from the G zone.

Are face down cards removed from the G zone via “Ultimate Stride” removed face up?

Yes, face down cards will be removed face up as well.

Are cards in the removal zone regarded as cards in the public area?

Yes, they are regarded as cards in the public area. The opposing fighter can check the cards in the removal zone.

A G unit with “Ultimate Stride” returned to the G zone in a timing that is not during End Phase.
Are the cards from the G zone removed in this situation too?

Yes, all cards in the G zone will be removed.

For conditions that say “if you have a 《Clan》 vanguard”, will it be fulfilled as long as it is a 《Clan》 that belongs to the nation of the <Zeroth Dragon>?

Yes, it will.
The <Zeroth Dragon> belongs in all of the clans in the nation used. For example, rear-guards with the “Lord” ability are able to attack as well.

A trigger check revealed a trigger unit when the G unit with “Ultimate Stride” is the only unit on the field.
At this moment, that trigger unit does not belong to the same clan as any vanguard or rear-guard.
Will the trigger effect be activated?

Yes, it will.
As a <Zeroth Dragon> belongs in all of the clans in the nation used, the conditions for the activation of trigger effects are fulfilled.

If the original card name of the unit in my hand is different from the vanguard, and is somehow regarded as a unit with the same card name as the vanguard due to effects, can that card be used as cost for “Ultimate Stride”?

Yes, it can be used for “Ultimate Stride”.
As it is regarded as a card with the same card name as your vanguard, as long as you fulfill the number of face up cards in your G zone, you can “Ultimate Stride”.

If “Seeker, Thing Saver Dragon” is legioned with “Blaster Blade Seeker”, can you “Ultimate Stride” with “Blaster Blade Seeker” as the stride cost?

Yes, it can be used for “Ultimate Stride”.

Are cards removed from the G zone via “Ultimate Stride” regarded the same way as cards removed via G assist step?

Yes, they are regarded in the same way.
